A friend of mine suggested I start taking phentarmine direct to take the edge off my depression and help me lose weight. I'm not sure. It looks a bit like a crackpop scheme - just one more that I would fall for. I don't even know why I bother. The only reason my friend would offer it to me is to see if I'm stupid enough to take it. But maybe I am? Who wouldn't want to be thinner? It's easier to take a pill than to do a people search. Everyone loves a thin girl, so if I was super thin I wouldn't even need to spend all this time online doing a person search. People would just gravitate towards me and love for me that. I mean, I can't even keep a life coach in my current state. A life coach! They're not high up on the list of desireable catches either, you know. Oh well, I'm supposed to get my first bottle tomorrow so I'll let you know next month how it's worked out for me.

So the whole "dating my life coach" affair totally fizzled...and good riddance to it. Honestly, I could never relax with him around. I always felt like he was secretly judging me or grading me on something. I couldn't just go with the flow. He was on it right away as well, which made it worse in a way. Oh well, it's been a few weeks since it ended and I'm just trying to recover. I don't feel sad about it - just kind of dirty, like I broke a really important rule. Did I? Whatever. The basic problem was I think he had some kind of eating disorder, like anorexia. He ate like a pig but never gained any weight and always smelled a bit funny. Ugh, orthorexia makes me nervosa! Time to drown my sorrows in a people search. Yeah, the best way to make me feel better about anything is to work on finding people really quickly and efficiently. To the internets!

So I went on a date with my life coach - strike that, my former life coach, and it was kind of a non-event, to be honest. It was a lot less creepy than I'd worried it might be, but there weren't any sparks or anything. Kind of a thanks, no thanks evening. I came home and logged on to the people finder. I think that it can be really fun to search people just to kill time. That or randomly come across articles like this about flatscreens demystified.

Um, so is it appropriate for a Life Coach to contact a client who no longer wants his services? Well, mine did. He wanted to ask me on a date. He says that Life Coaches aren't bound by the same rules as therapists, about not seeing them outside of work and so on. Still, I feel a little sketchy about it. He said I could even do "one of my search people things" to check his background. I did, of course, by I doesn't seem like he has a lot of respect for my hobby to find people. That's not a good sign, is it? I found him, of course, because I'm super skilled at finding people who don't want to be found. So I'm going on a date with him, but still feeling creepy about it. I just need to make sure I get my One A Day before the date so I'm in top form.

Okay, so per my last entry, I made an appointment with a life coach, and his advice was so good but so obvious that I didn't make another appointment with him. He said maybe I should use my abilities to find a person to do background checks on people I meet on personals sites. Duh. So I'm doing that. Still, it would be nice if people search were the great magical answer it seems to be. But at least I found a great site for background search. Oh, and randomly, here's info about hadoop.

Okay, so my attempt to find people to date has been a little more uphill than I'd anticipated. Turns out that most of these sites to find people now are more about finding people you already knew in real life and lost contact with, not so much about meeting new people. I mean, I knew that, since I've spent so much time using them, but still, I hoped I might be able to work the system or something. No dice. Not yet anyway. As always, I will keep you posted. However, one really useful way to use these sites has been finding a person to coach your life. I mean, getting a life coach would be a good first step in finding a man, right? He could coach me or whatever to get there? Haven't yet embarked on it, but I just knew that I could people search my way into happily ever after. I'll keep you posted.

Hello Again, don't you just love Halloween? I had such an awesome evening, watching all those cute kiddies in their even cuter costumes. Luckilyu I had stocked up on the best candy and had most the kids in my neighborhood banging my door down! I don't have any kids of my own yet, but can't wait to. But of course I need to find a man first... Easier said than done! Thats actually what first got me into people search. I was set up on a blind date by a great friend of mine, she didn't know the guy very well, it was through a friend and I wanted to take a chance but just felt uneasy about the whole situation so as I had his name and phone number, I decided to do a people search and see what I could find out before our date. Boy was I glad I did, he had shady background to say the least. I showed my friend the report and she immediately cancelled the date for me. So that is was when I got started in people search. Wow, I had such a response from my last post, thanks so much for all the support and warm wishe, which I passed onto Sam. He smiled, which was absolutely awesome to see, it's been a long time... Sam and I spent last weekend people searching and he was able to reconnect with a couple of his military buddies. I think the old Sam is going to be okay! Since getting back in touch with his military friends he seems to be doing so much better, it really helps to have people to talk to who have shared your experiences. In helping Sam find his friends, I found some great people search sites I want you all to take a look at if your serious about finding people, they sure helped us find people fast. Wouldn't you love to hear that?? I would. Fred's twin brother just got back from being in Iraq for a third tour, and man... this war is making me sadder than ever. Fred (as long as I've known him) has always been vibrant and happy, and this is how he has always described his brother too... but poor Sam is really having some trouble readjusting to civilian life this time around. Apparently quite a few people he was deployed with came back in boxes, and he's just not ok about it. :( It's weird because I always understood that it was hard to be a war veteran, but it's a lot harder than it seems once you experience it up close. Sam and Fred's parents are paying for Sam to get some therapy, so hopefully he'll be ok, but you just never know. It's weird how fragile the human mind is... not that Sam seems fragile on the outside mind you. The guy looks like the Terminator. Anyway... enough about that. Thanks for letting me vent. Umm... what else is going on in my life? Oh! My working out is going well. I am in better shape than I think I have ever been, and I feel great about it!! A side effect of all this working out is that I want to buy a whole bunch of new clothes I never thought I'd ever want before! It's awesome. Also awesome is my one people search site recommendation this month. Check it out if you're into it like me. I'm actually helping Sam find some of his buddies he lost touch with with my people searching skills later this weekend... so hopefully that'll help him cheer up finding some of his friends that did make it out of the war in one piece like him. I love lounge-y music lately. They play a lot of it at Fred's restaurant, and I just can't get enough. My favorite this week is by Belle and Sebastian, and it's called Love on the March. Of course, all of Belle and Sebastian's stuff is good. Mmmm - Fred! So, that has been totally working out... although I've gained five pounds since we started dating. I will totally have to join a gym in order to continue to be with this man, but it's definitely worth it (and something I've been wanting to do for a while anyway). I start my new workout regime tonight after work, and I'm totally excited. I got a trainer to show me the ropes at the beginning (and to keep me motivated through what I anticipate will be the initial pain)... but I hope to be on my own in the next two months, keeping it up myself. So, that's the update on my personal life... as far as people searching goes, I haven't really had that much of a chance to do very much of it this month, but I did come across a couple cool sites that might interest all of you out there. I'm now off to check out the fusion chicken thing Fred made me for lunch today. It's a salad, and he swears it's low calorie, but I don't believe him for one second! :)

A month ago I started dating this guy (as mentioned in my previous post), and at first it was all crimson and clover, but then it kind of just petered out.  Sad.  So sad in fact that for the first time in my life I sat down with my guitar (like a sap), and wrote a song about it.  It's like I thought I was Joe Cocker for a minute there.  Happily for me, you and my neighbors - that only lasted about a day though, and now I'm over it!  Hurray!  In fact, I have a date with a new guy named Fred tonight.  Fred is a chef, and he seems to be the consummate "good guy."  Nice smile, kind eyes, shaggy hair, volunteers his skills to help feed the homeless once a month.  In fact, he reminds me of a golden retriever... or Dav Lieberman (sp?) on the Food Network.  Have you seen that guy?  He's the sweetest little thing ever - always making dinner for his mom, and bargain shopping in his local whole foods.  Okay... so actually Dav Lieberman makes me a little sick, but Fred isn't quite THAT nice so it's all okay.  Anyway, enough about my personal life - let's get into some good people searching stories, shall we?  Oh yeah - let's do it.  The first great site I have for your finding people pleasure is this blog full of tools on how to find someone online.  Really informative.  Really gripping reading - just like this blog!  ;-)

In other, perhaps not nearly as exciting news, but fun nonetheless:  I have a new boyfriend.  His name is David, and he's smart and fit and all those other good things everyone wants in a lover.  I mention him because with the onslaught of romance often comes an onslaught of keeping up with responsibilities... like updating my blog.  So... let's hope I don't fall too hard... too fast.  Ouchie.  Ciao for now.

So here goes my first blog entry and first blog ever! I can't believe how long it has taken me to start my own blog. I needed to think about what I had to say that people would find worth reading! I do online people searches at work all day (I work for a P.I.) and thought maybe all I've learnt could be useful to others, hence this blog.

So I thought I'd start out by recommending the sites I use. I find these two to have the most updated records, which is important in the P.I. industry.
